About Palampur Science Centre, Palampur
Welcome to Palampur Science Centre, Palampur, where science is not confined to textbooks but transforms into an exciting journey of observation, understanding, experimentation, and discovery. Established by the National Council of Science Museums under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, it is the first science centre in Himachal Pradesh. Situated in the Holta area along the Mandi–Pathankot National Highway-154, the centre has emerged as a major hub for science education, awareness, and innovation in the Himalayan region.
The Science Centre has been developed as a vibrant and inspiring learning destination where children, students, families, and people of all age groups not only learn science but also experience it firsthand. Its interactive exhibits, engaging experiments, and educational activities make science simple, enjoyable, and easy to understand. Every section of the centre has been thoughtfully designed to encourage curiosity, foster scientific temper, and transform learning into a joyful and enriching experience.
