Science Park
Palampur Science Centre has a science park. In front of the main gate inside Centre, a statue of Tyrannosaurus Rex is established which is a centre of attraction for general visitors and tourists. This park is developed on wonderful sloppy landscape having beautiful pattern of flowers. The science park comprises of 30 nos. of exhibits and is provided with wheelchair friendly pathways to facilitate the access of exhibits to divyang people.
Fun Science Gallery
Fun Science Gallery is an amazing collection of hands-on and minds-on exhibits; fluids, sound, optics, mechanics, electromagnetism & rolling balls like wonderful and mesmerizing scientific concepts are taught to you in a fun filled way. These exhibits act as catalyst for curiosity to know & understand science. For the majority of people combing science with fun seems an impossible idea. Untamed Earth Gallery
Lying in the sensitive Himalayan belt, at the juncture to two active tectonic plates, Himachal Pradesh is prone to seismic activities of varying intensities resulting in natural events/ disasters like landslides, flash floods, avalanches, forest fires etc. that can have devastating effects on life & property. These natural disasters remind us that, here on Earth, we’re still at the mercy of nature.
